Physician executive with demonstrated expertise in payer–provider partnerships, population health management, and value-based care. Her work spans operational and quality improvement, healthcare delivery innovation, stakeholder experience, integrated care management, and health policy, including government programs and advanced alternative payment models across CMS, CMMI, and Medicaid.

Most recently Chief Medical Officer of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Illinois, Dr. Alvia Siddiqi led clinical and operational functions supporting nearly 9 million members and a statewide network of more than 100,000 providers. Following the Cigna Medicare acquisition in March 2025, her responsibilities expanded to include Medicare market performance, provider performance enablement, and provider relations across six Medicare markets and approximately 15 East Region states. She also served on enterprise Provider Experience and HealthSpring Experience Councils and led technology + AI-enabled solutions to improve healthcare provider operations and stakeholder experience.

Prior roles include CMO, Enterprise Population Health, and CMO, Clinically Integrated Care at Advocate Health, with leadership across clinically integrated networks and accountable care organizations (ACOs) serving more than 7,000 physicians and more than 1.3 million risk-based lives.
